The Jewish History Resource Center wishes to invite you to take part in the building of our new index at – http://www.dinur.org
We are in the process of transferring the 1000’s of links listed in our old resource center to our new searchable index.
We are offering you the opportunity to register your relevant websites and/or any resources missing from our index and insure their almost immediate place in our new system.
In order to register resources, you must first fill out a short form that will help us control the flow of data into the new index. Registration will also permit you to return and edit the resources you submitted and add resources to the index in the future.
Sites you register will be also reviewed by a member of our team before being opened to be viewed by the public. This process is needed in order to keep spam out.
If you find missing categories or keywords for your resource – please contact us – this will help us further develop our new site – I must point out that the index is still under construction and we are still adding new categories all the time!
For the past 5 years the Jewish History Resource Center has been the leading website dealing with the collecting and indexing of Jewish history resources on the web. 1000’s of users visit our index each week seeking relevant links and information.
Our new index is still under development and will only replace our current site when we finish indexing at least 2000 resources (our current site houses over 8000 resources).
The new index is an initiative of the Dinur Center for research in Jewish history and www.Ejewish.info (a Jewish Agency: Developing Jewish Networking Infrastructures project) who have been so generous to supply us with the needed technological support.
Members of our team will be happy to assist you if needed – but do keep in mind that we are dealing currently with many request so it may take us some time to reply.
