The Book of Jonah in the Old Versions and ancient Jewish literature:(with A. Shinan)
A collection is being prepared of all the references to every biblical verse in the Book of Jonah in the Old Versions, Hellenistic historiography, rabbinic literature and medieval commentaries, followed by their analysis and a short monograph characterizing the different approaches to the biblical text.
Stories of disguise in the Bible:
An analysis is made of all expressions of the disguise story-type, as well as the relationships between them and the role played by them in reflecting the biblical concept of retribution. Between inner-biblical and extra-biblical interpretation: This study follows ancient modes of interpretation from their earlier expressions in biblical literature through their later appearances in the Dead Sea scrolls, biblical apocrypha and pseudepigrapha, rabbinic literature, etc.
