This project is a continuation of the commentary to Ezekiel (Part One was published in the Anchor Bible Series [Doubleday] in 1983; Part Two is in press). The commentary utilizes pre-modern as well as modern exegesis, and employs a holistic approach, as opposed to the disintegrating analysis favored by most recent scholarship.

A new critical Hebrew commentary to the Bible is being prepared (General editors: M. Greenberg and S. Ahituv). Newly published volumes include the books of Joel (by M. Cogan), Amos (S. Paul, 1994), and Joshua (S. Ahituv, 1995).
